Apartment Renovation

[Before Interior Photo]

Before: Looking towards the rear of the existing Living Room. These interior walls were removed to create the Dining area.

We remodeled this one bedroom apartment in an Art Deco condominium for contemporary living and entertaining requirements. The Dining area replaced the old entry, a 5 foot diameter glass disc (straddling an existing beam) provides both a soft lighting glow and strong sense of spatial identity for this area. The Kitchen was doubled in size using the old dining room. The Bath has also been doubled in size, and a walk-in Closet was added. Within a limited amount of space, this project allows the Owner to enjoy a more open, flexible and spacious living environment.
